The
design for the Holy Ghost box is a work of "anti-packaging"
packaging--a break from the traditional design continuity
and form of CD boxed sets.
Evidence
of the box as a retail object is removed by taking off the
outer sash, making the box feel more like a personal possession
than a commercial package. Each box contains a dried, pressed
Dogwood blossom (a nod to Ayler's Christian faith) of which
no two are alike.
